Candidature Types Explained
Understanding your candidate type is crucial for claiming reservations.
Who is it for? Candidates who have passed SSC (10th) AND HSC (12th) from Maharashtra. OR Candidates who are Domicile of Maharashtra.
Who is it for? Candidates who don't fit in Type-A, but whose Father or Mother is a Domicile of Maharashtra.
Who is it for? Candidates who don't fit in Type-A or B, but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India and has been posted in Maharashtra before the last date of form submission.
Who is it for? Candidates who don't fit in Type-A, B, or C, but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of Maharashtra or its undertakings.
Who is it for? Candidates who have passed SSC and HSC from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra-Karnataka Border Area and whose mother tongue is Marathi.
Who is it for? All candidates from across India, including those from Maharashtra. Admission is based on JEE Main (Paper-1) score.
